
The body
As a key part of my approach I draw on mindfulness and somatic practices, honouring the body as a fertile source of information and wisdom. By connecting with the body, we can deepen our relationship with our inner world, become more present to our unique truth, tap into our intuition and facilitate healing.
The body offers a route to accessing emotions and experiences that are outside our conscious awareness. These may be linked to old traumas or burgeoning ideas. By connecting with the felt sense, an internal bodily awareness, we can bring attention to and work with physically held energies. Working somatically, we can relax chronic holding patterns, process emotions and receive messages stored in the body.
